Soft top containers remain highly popular with our customers, but we appreciate that you need to know your cargo is fully protected from the elements, which is why Shipping Containers Brisbane combine attachable roof bows with wind and water resistant tarpaulins, securely anchored to heavy duty eyelets. For extra reassurance, everything is firmly lashed to the floor and/or bottom side rails, creating a water and windproof seal, able to withstand the worst weather and keep your goods dry.

We are confident in the protection offered by our soft top containers, but respect that you may decide that valuable or fragile loads demand increased security, which is why we give you the option of hard open top shipping containers. Both units offer the same benefits of easy access and portability.

THE FLAT RACK SOLUTION TO OVER-HEIGHT CARGOES

If you need to transport items that are taller than your average shipping container’s height, open tops seem like the obvious answer but, unfortunately, they are not. Open top containers are only open at the point of loading or unloading, to allow for easy access. Once the cargo is safely stowed a metal roof or tarpaulin is put in place, thus restricting the height. Because the roof bows are crucial in ensuring the rigidity and stability of the whole unit and support the roof, removing them to make way for tall objects is not an option.

There are several solutions to the oversized load problem, one being our flat rack shipping containers. These facilitate top, front or side-loading and are available with or without walls.
